South Cliff ace Hannah Bailey earns fourth Ladies Championship win
The Scarborough South Cliff Ladies Club Championship took place earlier this month.
Thirty-six holes in one day is not just about your golfing skills but stamina and mental strength too. After the first round Hannah Bailey posted a gross 79 with two birdies and six pars on her card.

She took a four-shot lead into the second round from Anita Arnold-Forster who had seven pars in the first round.
Although Anita posted two birdies and four pars in the second round she couldn’t beat the in-form Hannah who shot an 81 with 10 pars on her card.
The winner Hannah Bailey finished with 160, and the runner-up Anita Arnold-Forster 173
Hannah has now won this competition four times.
The first time when her Mum, Susan Cockill, was Lady Captain in 2013 and then taking the hat-trick of 2024, 2025 and 2026.
The Committee Cup, the nett competition, was a tie with Anita Arnold-Forster and Patcharin Harris both scoring 147.
They will play a further 18 holes to decide the winner.
