“What makes it even more special is the way the swimming community comes together. Swimmers, parents, officials, volunteers, sponsors and coaches all played their part. It was a brilliant weekend for the club and for the wider sport.”

Scarborough SC would also like to give a special thank-you to its sponsors, including Proudfoot and Director Valerie Aston, who continues to be a strong supporter of the club, and the charity work it carries out within the local community, and the Directors and Senior Team at Scarborough Specsavers for their fantastic support of the club and its open meets.

A special thank-you also goes to Councillor Janet Jefferson, who continues to be a fantastic supporter of Scarborough SC.

Scarborough SC would like to thank all visiting clubs for supporting the meet and helping create such a positive competition atmosphere.

A huge thank you also goes to the senior referees, officials, team managers, coaches and volunteers who helped the competition run so smoothly.

The club would also like to thank its own army of volunteers who worked behind the scenes before, during and after the event.
