North Yorkshire choir presents Musicals by Moonlight at Scampston Hall and Gardens - how to get tickets
Singers from across North Yorkshire are preparing to step into the spotlight as they bring the magic of musical theatre to one of the county’s most beautiful venues.
Members of Sing Space Musical Theatre Choirs, based in Malton and York, will perform Musicals by Moonlight at Scampston Hall Gardens later this month.
Choir leader James Aconley said: “The most special thing about Sing Space is seeing the community that has grown around it.
"We have people who joined because they loved musicals but never imagined they would stand on a stage performing to an audience.
"Watching their confidence grow and seeing everyone support each other is what makes this so rewarding.”
“Musicals by Moonlight is a celebration of everything that makes community music so powerful – bringing people together, creating friendships and giving everyone the chance to be part of something truly special.”
The concert will take place in the surroundings of Scampston Hall Gardens, with audiences invited to bring a picnic, relax and enjoy an evening of unforgettable musical theatre favourites.
The performance will also feature special guest appearances from Dance Expression and West End performer Sydnie Hocknell.
Following the success of previous performances, organisers are encouraging local people to book their tickets early and join the singers for a memorable summer evening of entertainment.
Musicals by Moonlight takes place at Scampston Hall Gardens on Sunay July 19 at 7pm.
