Letter: What about those who enjoy social side of the club?
Why demolish South Cliff Bowls Club which has served the town for over 100 years only then to build a new green and clubhouse?
Have the people behind the plan considered the many people who use this green area who are not bowlers?
I am not a bowler but, like many others, I use this area to sit when out for a walk and enjoy the social side of the club.
The club serves the community who are generally over 55. Their social events each week allow us a regular meeting place for friends to catch up.
