Nicola Coughlan filming Netflix series on Scarborough Seafront
Derry Girls and Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan was spotted at Harbour Bar with a camera crew, filming for a multi-part Netflix adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Tales of The Unexpected.
Filming for the star-studded series featuring Toby Jones, Imelda Staunton and Dominic West, has taken place up and down the Yorkshire coast with the cameras landing in South Bay on Thursday, September 17.
Having spent most of the day filming inside the popular ice cream shop, the crew was seen capturing a sequence on the pavement outside from 6pm. Nicola Coughlan was sighted sporting a baby bump while walking in front of the shop, acting out the street-scene.
Curious local residents were allowed to observe from the sides of the set or over the road, while those going about their business were marshalled through the set between takes.
This comes as the same crew was spotted filming in Whitby on Wednesday (September 16) and in Saltburn earlier in the week.
