“It will be a much-requested Scarborough OAT debut for Jack and it’s a welcome return to the venue for James who was The Script's very special guest here back in 2022, so he is delighted to be back as a headliner.

"This will be an unmissable night for fans of these two incredible talents.”

The Scarborough date is one of seven open air shows Jack and James will be playing next summer.

The double-headline shows will see each artist taking it in turns to close the show.

This year has seen Savoretti make a bold return to his musical roots, with the release of his ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were.

Marking 20 years since his debut album Between the Minds, the record finds Savoretti reconnecting with the raw storytelling and cinematic soul that defined his earliest work, while further cementing his position at the forefront of British songwriting.

Twenty years into his career, You Give Me Something hitmaker James Morrison’s music still simmers with the soul, emotion and quiet authority that have defined one of the UK’s most enduring singer-songwriters.

Across that time, he has amassed two UK number 1 albums, five UK Top 10 singles, multiple Platinum-certified releases and a BRIT Awards win, alongside millions of global sales. Last autumn saw him achieve his highest chart position in 14 years with his seventh album, the Top 5 record Fight Another Day.

The 2026 Scarborough OAT season saw shows from such global icons Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Hollywood Vampires and Teddy Swims.

It attracted gig-goers from 64 countries to Scarborough and delivered an estimated £18m-plus economic boost to the Yorkshire coast.

The 2026 sales eclipsed the previous record – set in 2024 – by more than 60,000 tickets.

One million tickets have now been sold to gigs at the North Yorkshire Council-owned venue since it re-opened to the public in 2010.
