North Yorkshire Police issue CCTV appeal following Whitby burglaries
North Yorkshire Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they need to trace in connection with ongoing burglary investigations in Whitby.
The incidents happened at businesses premises on the East Side of the town between midnight and 4am on Sunday, September 20. A police spokesperson said: “On Church Street, a window was forced open and a quantity of cash was taken from inside. “Another business premise on Henrietta Street was also broken in to. An untidy search was carried out but nothing is believed to have been taken. “We are wanting to speak with the man in the CCTV image below who may have information to assist us in our investigation. “Anyone with information regarding the man in the CCTV image or the incidents is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 and ask for Dan Hardey. “Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or submit an online report via their website. “Quote reference 12260184623 when providing information.
