Letter: Why the delay to flood scheme?

This seems to have gone quiet again. Work was supposed to start in January 2017 after a year’s delay then, the last excuse was agreeing compensation to landowners was not completed. It was stated then work would start in January 2018. It’s almost March and still nothing.

At this rate Brexit could be finished and also the HS2 rail project.
