A charity drive at Scarborough Harbour has raised a sparkling £3,849 for charity.

The South Bay Sparkle was organised over Christmas by South Bay Traders Association and Scarborough Yacht Club members.

More than 25 yachts in the harbour were festooned with colourful Christmas lights, with people urged to donate, and there was also a children’s photographic competition.
