Man City striker Sergio Aguero grabbed Hodgson 50 points after he named the frontman as his skipper, while his midfielders netted him plenty of points as well.

Alexis Sanchez, 16, Kevin De Bruyne, 15, and Dimitri Payet, 10, all contributed to Hodgson’s haul and take him top.

Simon Cooke is in second as he amassed a massive 121 pointsas he applied his triple captain boost to Aguero, grabbing him a huge 75 points.

Carl Sample stayed in and around the front-runners, his 102 points again boosted by the selection of Aguero, while Southampton striker Graziano Pelle added 14 points to his tally.

Last week’s leader Marlon Moreno is in fourth, with the rest of the top 10 being completed by Paul I’Anson, Ollie Vellin, Edwin Soares, Paul Brady, Thomas Thompson and Joe Cummins.

At the wrong end of the table, late arrival Caledonian Demons grabbed 82 points and closed the gap to Craig Rackham, Tommy Fullerton and Gareth Austin.

Managers have a couple of weeks to make their changes now with this weekend’s international break.
