Paul Senior scored a hat-trick plus doubles from Sandie Edwards and Kevin Raynor, Jon Bell shot a brace in reply for third-placed Knights, writes Tony Wigley.

Mad Batters overcame Air Benders 6-3 thanks to a treble from Alan Fumagalli, two wins from Robert Deegan and a Phil Leach single, Tom Ryan struck twice in reply and Sam Whitehead added one single for fourth-placed Air Benders.

The Avengers edged home 5-4 against The James Gang, Phil Parcell claimed an excellent hat-trick and a win each for Vicky Barton and Mike Major.

Cobras preserved their 100% record in Division One as they beat James Builders 6-3.

Chris Deegan, Peter Clarkson and Paul Senior scored two wins apiece but the mesmeric Simon James won all his matches with another dazzling display for Builders.

The Penholders triumphed 5-4 over The Crazy Gang with a Rory Bagnall treble and an Ethan Marshall brace, Gavin Smithies led the fightback with a double and one win each from Caron Holdsworth and Julian James.

Barracudas stay fifth following a 7-2 win over Scorpions, Chris Deegan and Tony Wigley claimed maximums and Phil Parcell added a win.
