Scarborough care boss named among UK’s most influential care leaders
Saint Cecilia's Care Group has announced that its Executive Chairman, Mike Padgham, has been recognised in the prestigious Care Home Professional Power List 2026, produced in association with Radar Healthcare.
The annual Power List celebrates the UK's most influential leaders in the care home sector, recognising individuals who have made outstanding contributions to social care and demonstrated exceptional leadership in improving care services across the country.
With more than 35 years of dedicated service to the sector, Mike Padgham has established himself as one of social care's most respected voices.
In addition to leading Saint Cecilia's Care Group, he has been a tireless advocate for care providers, residents and the wider social care community through his longstanding involvement with the Independent Care Group, the Homecare Association, and the Care Association Alliance.
Throughout his career, Mike has been at the forefront of campaigning for a sustainable and effective social care system, championing the interests of those who rely on care services as well as the staff and providers who deliver them.
His inclusion in the Care Home Professional Power List 2026 reflects his unwavering commitment to promoting high-quality care and driving positive change across the sector.
