F1 season starts this weekend, but when will races return to Oliver's Mount?

Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton will look to claim his eighth title this season, and break the record of seven which he currently ties with Michael Schumacher.

A refreshed Redbull driver lineup will look to stop that from happening, with Sergio Perez joining Max Verstappen. They will look to halt Mercedes who have won the championship consecutively for the previous seven seasons.

A familiar name is also returning to the paddock, Mick Schumacher, the son of seven-time champion Michael, takes up a seat at Haas for his rookie season.

Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso returns to the sport, to race with Alpine after two years out of the driving seat.

Qualifying gets underway at 3pm on Saturday for Sunday's first race of the season in Bahrain.

'Racing Returns To Oliver's Mount'

But when does motor sport return to Oliver's Mount in Scarborough?

Under the Government's roadmap out of lockdown performances and large events can restart, but with limits on audience numbers no earlier than May 17.

Races at the Scarborough track are set to return this summer with four events.

The Spring Cup has been rescheduled for the weekend of May 22, which should allow it to go ahead with a restricted crowd. Limited numbers of advanced tickets are on sale, with no admissions on the day.

The 2021 Barry Sheene Classic has been rescheduled for the weekend of June 26.

There are no plans to change the dates of the other events, but Oliver's Mount will be guided by the latest Government announcements.
